Support Fluvanna Youth Baseball

Fluvanna Youth Baseball League is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.  The League’s goal is to provide a platform for local boys and girls to learn and participate in encouragement, respect, sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun and safe environment through learning the game of baseball.  Last spring over 300 players participated in the League ranging from ages 4 – 15.  We are extremely appreciative and proud of the work Wade Parrish does with our Buddy Ball program.  Buddy Ball is a division designed to allow players with special needs to enjoy America’s Pastime- baseball.

As we prepare for the beginning of another fun season, we are reaching out to members of our community asking for their support in our mission.  Fluvanna Youth Baseball is run and managed by volunteers.  The League is dependent on registration fees, fundraising, concession sales and the generous donations of our community to offset expenses related to field rentals, uniforms, equipment and other operating costs.

The League’s priority for 2020 and beyond is to improve and expand our existing field and facilities at Lion’s Club.  Our short-term goals for the Lion’s Club facility are to improve infield drainage, move the outfield fence in to 200 – 225’, provide concessions, construct a covered batting cage and build a dedicated T-Ball field.  Please consider volunteering your time or making a monetary donation to Fluvanna Youth Baseball to help us achieve our goals.

On behalf of the League, the Board of Directors, our players, coaches and volunteers we appreciate your consideration to sponsor Fluvanna Youth Baseball.

Matt Dickerson, President
