Player Evaluations on February 22nd!!!

Player evaluations will take place on February 22nd at Fork Union Military Academy's Estes Athletic Center. The Estes Athletic Center can be accessed through the Arbor Lane entrance of FUMA's campus. Evaluations will be conducted for the Rookie, Minor and Major league divisions. The times are as follows:

Rookie League (ages 7-8): 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Minor League (ages 9-10): 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Players should arrive 30 minutes prior to their evaluation time so they can be checked-in, assigned an evaluation number and confirm their jersey and hat sizes. While we understand all players will not be able to attend evaluations, attendance is highly recommended if your schedule permits. Any outstanding registration dues should be paid on the day of evaluations. All players should bring their equipment, to include, their bat, helmet and glove. Cleats are not permitted inside the Athletic Center; therefore players should wear tennis shoes. Each player will be evaluated on their hitting, fielding, throwing, and in some cases, their pitching skills. Coaches will draft teams immediately following evaluations. It is expected that coaches will contact their players on or before February 29th. At that time, you will learn practice days, times and locations.

T-Ball players will be contacted by their coaches at a later date.
